Christ intercessor

Christ intercessor

Our Lord made a sacrifice for us, introduced himself to the Father, to make atonement for the church (Hebrews 9:24). Jesus is from the beginning to the end of the age of the Gospel being the Great High Priest and Advocate of his people. This makes it possible no longer be strangers to God, but "accepted in the Beloved" by the Father (Ephesians 1: 6).
Hebrews 7:22 that Jesus has become the guarantee [j] of a better covenant. 23 The former priests were more numerous because death prevented them from continuing, 24 but He holds His priesthood [k] since endures forever. 25 Wherefore He is able also to save forever [l] that through Him they approach God, since He always lives to intercede for them.
26 For it we had such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners and exalted above the heavens, 27 do not need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for the sins of the people; for this he did once for all when he offered himself. 28 For the law appoints as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever.

Now we are before God and as members of the body of Christ, we ask for His help and guidance (Romans 5: 1,2). We realize that we are not before God on our own merit, "Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life; No one comes to the Father but by me "(John 14: 6). First we are accepted, then our daily devotion to justice and our path to holiness unfolds. Because we recognize Jesus as our advocate so that we can reach the throne of grace. Our Lord continues to offer and applying his sacrifice until reaching perfection have no more need for it. That sacrifice and merit, will never be forgotten.
Romans 8: 27 And he who searches the hearts knows what the mind [a] the Spirit, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

Christ, our lawyer
1 John 2: 1 My little children, I write these things so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, Advocate [a] we have with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Since only what is perfect could be acceptable to God, our acceptance is under the coverage of Christ in the robe of his righteousness, his perfection is imputed to us. He saves us from the sins of our earthly life and also covers the spots that are the result of the imperfections of our human body (Isaiah 61:10). Through this cloak of justification we can approach God through the righteousness of our Savior, have the privilege of knowing him and call him Father.
Intercessory Prayer What is it?
Intercessory prayer is a prayer made in favor of another. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads for another case. A study of the Bible defines intercession as "holy persevering prayer, believer and why one intercedes with God for another or others who desperately need God's intervention."
